YourWeb - Web Stats

If we host your web site we provide you with comprehensive statistics on usage and access. These statistics are extracted from our Apache (Web Server) log files. We create new log files every month and process the results on a rolling 12 month basis. The standard report is a no cost item and is posted to your private area on our web site (www.zytrax.com/isp/clients/clientname). We regard the log file as your property and will gladly mail you a copy at the end of each month. There are many applications which will do additional processing of these logs. The standard report consists of the following items:

General Summary Summary of information contained in log including start and end dates.
Monthly Report Bar chart and numbers showing access by month
Weekly Report Bar chart and numbers showing access by week
Daily Summary Bar chart and numbers showing average access by day of the week.
Daily Summary Bar chart and numbers showing average access by hour.
Referer Report The number of requests by refering source. This report is particularly useful to track the number of times you were refered to by search engines.
Bowser Summary The number of accesses by browser family and veriosn. This report is only available if you are using the StatPlus service.
Status Code Report Numeric only. Shows successful and failed requests.
Directory Report Indicates the pages served by directory and the percentages.

Note: The standard report does not provide data about host, domain or organisational access. This service can be provided as part of the 'chargeable' enhanced web stats. You can view the additional information contained in such reports in this example or this example.

StatPlus

We use the Apache web server log and 'analog' to provide statistical results from the log files. We can provide additional information as described in the table below. StatPlus stats are customised to your needs, incur a modest monthly charge and are provided on the current months statistics only.

Domain Report Shows the number and percentage of access by each top level domain e.g. .com, .ca etc.. Example.
Organisation Report Shows the number and percentage of access by each organisation using the mydomain.tld format. Example.
Host Report Shows the number of pages by each unique host where the IP address resolves to a valid name. Example.
Browser Report Shows the number of pages and the percentage accessed by each browser family and version. Example.
Request Report Shows the pages delivered by URL, their number and percentage. Example.

Custom stats

We can customise any display or analysis based on your special needs. The report can be run on a one-time or regular basis. Depending on the report and its frequency we may charge both a setup charge and/or a run time charge.
