Over the years we had been frequently asked by clients to undertake complete network designs and installations culminating in a major hotel upgrade where we were asked to:

• Design the structured cabling for telephony, LAN and video. Each room has:

  • High Speed (LAN) Internet Acess
  • video (TV)
• Design the network topology
• Install the wiring and network infrastructure
• Certify and test the system
• Provide consultancy on PBX purchase
• Provision High Speed Internet Access service
• Provide Web and e-mail hosting services
• Design and develop the web site
• Configure and implement the network services
• Install high speed wireless links between buildings
• Within a value-for-money budget

We had all the skills in-house to cover the entire scope of the work so we accepted the challenge.

The formation of ZYTRAX Networks

The project was immensely successful and this success caused us to form ZYTRAX - Networks as a stand-alone business unit where our in-depth knowledge of networking would allow us to bring the advantages of quality and reliable installations at a value-for-money price point to other clients.
